It started simply: an errant stick, an alleyway, a man whose strangely-fitted clothes couldn't hide the way he moved with impossibly inhuman joints. She felt stronger for a moment, amazing, and so she beat him to death.

And a little part of her rejoiced, for she'd finally found a purpose.
